The GAERNE boots SG 12 Shockwave LE white/pink motocross boots are built for riders who want strong support and precise control in off-road and enduro conditions. The SG12 design focuses on stability, impact protection, and a secure interface with the bike for demanding tracks and race days.
The SG12 uses a Dual Stage Pivot System (DSPS) that braces the boot laterally while allowing a natural feel on the pegs for shifting and braking. A PU-injected front shin plate and a shaped heel cup form a solid external shield around the lower leg and rearfoot. A precision-shaped toe box improves contact with the shift lever, so you can modulate gear changes without excess bulk at the front of the boot. On the inner side, Grip Guard rubber panels add bite against the bike’s frame and also act as a barrier against engine and exhaust heat.
The closure system combines four lightweight, replaceable buckles with rubberised details for easier handling in mud or with gloves. A Velcro strap at the top fine-tunes the upper closure, and the top two buckles adjust to accommodate bigger calves or knee braces. Inside, Gaerne Memory Cell Foam lining shapes around the foot and ankle for a consistent, supportive hold. The insole is molded to support the foot, with shock-absorbing material under the rear of the foot-bed and a ventilated forefoot area to encourage airflow.
The DSPS structure works with the shin plate and heel cup to limit over-compression and hyper-extension while still letting the boot articulate through its intended range of motion. The Grip Guard inner panels help stabilise the leg against the bike, reducing unwanted movement in ruts and landings. The SG12 boot is CE certified to EN 13634:2017 under EU Regulation 2016/425 and is made in Italy.
