This training course is intended for companies, institutions or private individuals who have purchased an Enterprise-series drone and want to make full use of its capabilities.
The training course includes all topics covered in the 3+3-hour introductory course, as well as:
- Flight-route configuration;
- Fundamentals of photogrammetry;
- Use of drone accessories and additional equipment;
- Introduction to the Specific category, covering flights outside the limits of the Open category;
- Approval procedures for flights in restricted or prohibited flight zones.
The content of the training course depends on the specific drone model and its configuration and can be individually adapted to the client’s requirements.

Practical Accreditation for Remote Pilots in the SPECIFIC Category — PDRA-S01 and PDRA-S02
The purpose of this course is to enable remote pilots to obtain practical skills accreditation for the predefined risk assessment scenarios PDRA-S01 and PDRA-S02. The accreditation is issued by SIA IGJJ, an entity recognised by the Civil Aviation Agency, and is valid for five years.
The accreditation is completed through a combined training and skills-assessment session. This is not merely an examination, but a comprehensive practical training course.

PART 1. Theoretical Training for the Specific Category
Topics covered:
- Scope of the Specific category;
- Types of authorisations in the Specific category, including PDRA and SORA;
- Ground risks, air risks and risk-mitigation measures;
- Airspace classification;

A2 Theoretical Examination
The A2 theoretical examination authorises a remote pilot to conduct drone operations in the A2 subcategory.
The examination is conducted as a multiple-choice test.
Duration: 30 minutes
Number of questions: 30 questions, with a minimum passing score of 75%.
Validity: 5 years throughout the European Union.
Cost: €20 per person. The minimum group size is four participants, or a minimum total fee of €80.
Location: 149 Aleksandra Čaka Street, on the premises of the Motosports store.
On-site examinations can also be arranged anywhere in Latvia, subject to prior agreement.
STS Theoretical Examination
STS Theoretical Examination
The theoretical examination for the Specific category is a unified examination valid both for operations conducted under Predefined Risk Assessment scenarios (PDRA) and for operations conducted under a full Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA).
In addition to passing the theoretical examination, the remote pilot must complete practical skills training and assessment, while the operator must obtain an operational authorisation.
Before taking the STS examination, the candidate must have passed the A1/A3 online test, which can be completed independently.
With a Valid A2 Certificate
Duration: 30 minutes
Number of questions: 30 questions, with a minimum passing score of 75%.
Validity: 5 years throughout the European Union.
Without a Valid A2 Certificate
Duration: 40 minutes
Number of questions: 40 questions, with a minimum passing score of 75%.
Validity: 5 years throughout the European Union.
Cost: €25 per person. The minimum group size is four participants, or a minimum total fee of €100.

Preparation of Documentation for the Specific Category
To obtain authorisation to operate in the Specific category, an operator must prepare extensive documentation.
To save you time, we can prepare this documentation for you. Each client’s planned flight operations, organisational structure and operating approach are assessed individually.
Documentation preparation includes:
- Risk assessment in accordance with the PDRA or SORA methodology;
- Operations manual;
- Authorisation application;
- Airspace reservation application, where required.
