The Atomic Four AMID JR dust skiing and snowboarding helmet is built for young all-mountain riders who need serious impact protection in a low-profile, urban-inspired design. It combines Atomic’s AMID technology with a secure in-mold shell to keep kids confident on piste, in the park, and exploring the whole mountain.
The Four AMID JR uses an in-mold shell where the EPS foam is molded directly into the PC outer shell for a strong, light structure. At its core is AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector), a foam technology that delivers up to 40% more impact protection than industry standards by managing energy from different impact angles. Inside, a removeable, washable full-cap liner with integrated 3D-molded ear pads balances warmth on cold days and breathability when the sun comes out. The Ear Fit System uses a draw-cord closure around the ears to keep them warm and protected, while audio-compatible ear pads let kids add sound if they choose.

These certifications verify that the helmet has passed impact and penetration tests relevant to resort and all-mountain use, giving parents clear, benchmarked assurance about its protective performance.
