ACERBIS jacket Ramsey Vented 2.0 CE black
The ACERBIS jacket Ramsey Vented 2.0 CE black is a street and touring motorcycle jacket built for summer and warm-weather rides, combining high airflow with AA-rated protection under EN 17092-3:2020. Designed for road and light adventure-touring use, it suits riders who want strong abrasion resistance and impact armor without excess bulk.
Outer construction
The jacket uses 450D polyester on the main shell and shoulder panels for tear and abrasion resistance, with a water-repellent finish to help shed light moisture. Large ventilated mesh inserts on the body, sleeves and cuffs keep the structure light while still using tear- and abrasion-resistant fabric. A polyester mesh lining and a microfleece inner collar add comfort, while a small stretch insert at the collar improves mobility around the neck. This is a single-layer CE-certified jacket that focuses on direct airflow and impact protection.
Weather protection
The water-repellent 450D outer fabric offers basic defense against short, light showers. For riders who want more, the jacket is prepared to accept an optional fully taped 5K/5K waterproof and breathable inner membrane (Ramsey 2.0 membrane, sold separately), turning it into a more versatile 2-season setup. Without the membrane installed, the open mesh structure prioritizes ventilation over rain protection, ideal for hot, dry conditions.
Thermal system
The ACERBIS jacket Ramsey Vented 2.0 CE black focuses on warm-weather performance, with high-ventilation mesh panels on the front, back, sleeves and cuffs to move as much air as possible across the body. The lightweight construction keeps bulk down on hot days, while the microfleece inner collar prevents chafing on longer rides. Adding the optional waterproof membrane can extend its use into cooler or changeable conditions when combined with your own base and mid layers.
Protection and fit features
The jacket holds EN 1621-1:2012 Type A Level 1 protectors at the shoulders and elbows as standard, and it is certified to EN 17092-3:2020 Class AA for overall garment protection. A dedicated pocket accepts an EN 1621-2:2014 Type FB Level 2 back protector (sold separately) for riders who want to upgrade impact coverage. The sport fit cut suits road and touring ergonomics, with adjustments at the wrists, sleeves (including the biceps area) and bottom hem so you can snug the jacket to your body or riding layers. Zipped cuffs with additional hook-and-loop adjustment on some versions help seal around gloves, while reflective Acerbis logos and applications on the sleeves and other areas enhance night-time visibility. Practical storage comes from two external and two internal pockets, giving space for small essentials on everyday rides.
