The 6D ATR-3 Hex FIM Neon orange helmet is a high-spec motocross and enduro helmet designed for riders who want advanced impact management backed by top-tier certifications including ECE 22-06, FIM 02, DOT, and ACU. Built around 6D’s fifth-generation Omni-Directional Suspension™ (ODS) system and a rebuildable architecture, it targets serious racers and hard-charging off-road riders.
A 3K carbon composite shell forms the outer structure, using multiple materials to balance penetration resistance with controlled energy management. Inside, a multi-impact EPP outer liner with integrated “Damping Towers” works together with a replaceable inner EPS liner that functions as a helmet within a helmet. The Generation Five ODS isolation dampers sit between these layers to reduce both linear and angular acceleration in a crash, then recenter the liner afterward. An EPP-lined chinbar with a polyurethane over-molded sternum pad, clavicle cut-away, and a cervical spine relief zone add focused protection around vulnerable areas. The removable, washable antibacterial comfort liner and emergency-release cheek pads support hygiene and trackside removal.
