Stabilisation and mounting

Action camera quality is decided by stabilisation and camera position rather than resolution.

• Stabilisation: electronic stabilisation removes vibration from helmet and handlebar.
• Mounting: the helmet gives an eye level view, the bar shows technique, a chest strap adds depth.
• Batteries: capacity drops in the cold, so a spare is essential.

360 cameras let you choose the framing after the ride, which is a real advantage on the move.
