Choosing the right ski
Ski choice starts with where you actually ski, then length and waist width.
- Piste: narrow waist around 70 to 80 mm, quick edge to edge.
- All mountain: roughly 80 to 95 mm, the versatile choice.
- Freeride: 95 mm and wider for float in soft snow.
As a starting point choose skis between your chin and the top of your head. Bindings must be set to your boot sole length and DIN value.
